Upcoming Schedule

Previous Action Items

  • Not done - Come up with two queries, high and low priority. One could be QAWANTED list, and the other could be FIXED bugs that need special attention for verification(?)

Discussion Items

  • Tracy Walker has joined the Desktop team full time and will be mentored to help with feature ownership and driving releases with Juan and I
  • Current status of OSX 10.9, Windows 8.1 testing with Beta
    • Note: Samvedana is going to be leading our effort to ensure compatibility with Win 8.1
    • Note: Marcia is going to be leading our effort to ensure compatibility with OSX 10.9
  • Time again for Q3 goals, start thinking about what you want to achieve, in particular:
    • How we can improve the team dynamic, how current work flow and processes
    • How we want to grow your community efforts
      • good-first-bugs for verifications?
      • involve contributors in testing your features outside of testdays
  • Beta regression tests - perhaps we should add new tests instead of repeating old ones. I.e. running the old test less times per beta and replacing some of its repetitions with new tests.
    • Older tests stopped revealing issues a long while ago.

Notes and Actions

  • Anthony - look at existing regression tests for Betas and decrease frequency of tests which are less valuable
  • Anthony - Add a post-mortem item to review testing for what's valuable or not (ie. has it found regressions lately)
  • Anthony - come back with a proposal for incorporating good-first-bugs into verifications and involving contributors in feature testing outside of testdays (tie to Q3 goals)
  • Ioana - come back with a list of areas important to regression test that we aren't right now
