Overview

Purpose

  • To perform functional testing on touch enabled laptops.
  • To perform in-depth exploratory testing on various sites using different input styles (fingers, stylus/pen, keyboard, mouse)

Scope

  • This wiki details the testing that will be performed for e10s and APZ touch enabled laptops. The purpose is to document:
  • Ensure intervention with web content
  • Basic panning and tapping
  • Make sure websites respond properly to mouse when touch is enabled
  • Long presses to do text selection, menu, access, and dragging with fingers and mouse functions

It's a known issue of testing APZ with e10s enabled Emphasis placed on exploratory testing to ensure browser functions regardless off touch, pen, or keyboard input.
