Events
My First Mozilla Event
Maker’s party this was my first Mozillian event at MIT Chennai, 2014.
One of the most memorable experiences that I have had in my life till now. It was a day full of fun and learning experiences. We were a part of the Google
Developers Group Chennai and we were there to teach people about App Inventor 2 . People around Chennai who owned amazing start-ups were all showcasing their
own products there. we had people from • Wikimedia – A global movement to bring free education • Robotics, 3D printing by Redd Robotics • Augmented reality by Insane labs • Game designing • Web making and app making- by Mozilla • A demo on Arduino boards by Simple Labs • Web security • Google card board demo by Google developer group (GDG Chennai) • and many more…
. It is a global campaign where all innovators, various organizations, enthusiastic web developers get to meet various people who want to learn and contribute . They demonstrate, teach and finally with a hands on experience they let us “make”.
One of the most eye-catchy was 3D printing where we could get amazing 3D moulds from
the printer. So beautiful it was to see and feel.
Google Developer Groups had brought one of the best devices of times which was
Google Glass and Google Cardboard we had a hands-on experiences with the most amazing
technology of all times. Google cardboard actually gave me a feel of virtually experiencing
a place that I would have longed to go to.And the demo of the Google glass winded up the
day and we also had best tutorials session by Jeyanthan on Github which was an eye opener for me.
To sum up it was one of the best events for me and I learnt a lot
than I expected and seeing those amazing creativity was one good experience Waiting for many more
