  • [Jesse] One Rust language developer curious whether it makes sense to promote Rust at security conferences.
    • Recent TLS bugs are drawing new attention to drawbacks of C-family languages that aren't directly related to memory safety.
    • Static analysis tool developers tend to have booths and talks, and I'd expect people interested in those to also be interested in a language that makes external tools less necessary.
