Fx Sync
- 1.5 had l10n issues, due to missing files in the en-US l10n repo
- no localizers caught this, error dates to pre-1.4
- weave-l10n/en-US has been fixed after much Hg weirdness
- en-US only 1.5 is on AMO to support Fennec Beta, plan is to ship a 1.5.1 with locales (via l10n-merge) ASAP
- bustage on OS X trunk nightlies
- Had some reports of this from users this AM
- affects both 1.5 and native Sync
- new nightlies coming with fix
- 1.5.1 will also contain this fix
- Mobile perf concerns with Weave.service startup
- Weave.Service is being invoked unconditionally and too early
- lots of known stuff to resolve, but this should have been measured a long time ago
- mconnor on point
- Work on Sync Key UX
- Improvements coming in 1.6
- Sync more actively when devices are in use, less active when idle, sync when returning from idle
- Perf stuff
- More, see bugzilla
Fx Home
- 1.0.3b4 respun, waiting on l10n QA.
- Plan to submit today/tomorrow once QA signs off.
Server
- Status of load tests? What have we learned so far?
- 40-50 tps which gives us about 1.5 million for normal load.
