Feature functional spec When a user installs Firefox and launches
When a user installs Firefox and launches it for the first time, the Import Wizard is launched. The Import Wizard should include an option to import Google Chrome settings and data (along with any other installed browsers). Selecting Google Chrome from the list of browsers in the Import Wizard and clicking "Next" should result in the wizard importing the user's Chrome passwords, bookmarks, history, form data, cookies, and settings.

The goal is not to keep Firefox in sync with Chrome, just to migrate it one time. The goal is not to provide post-firstrun importing of all of these settings. If that is easy to do or otherwise comes along "for free" that's great. This feature does not require that.

Firefox offers new users migration of settings and data from Internet Explorer, Safari, and Opera. It does not offer users migration from Chrome. It should. The goal is to make Firefox a seamless conversion from Chrome. This feature falls primarily in the '''Experience''' category (from the "Discover, Experience, and Connect" vision statement.)

All users new to Firefox who have a Google Chrome profile on their system. A Chrome user wants to try out Firefox so he downloads it and installs it. Unfortunately, for him and the 150 million other Chrome users who might want to try out Firefox, his Chrome settings and data are not migrated so when he goes to log into Facebook and his username and password are not pre-filled, he says "screw it" and returns to Chrome.
