| We want to build online rich and transformative learning experiences, like we currently deliver offline with Maker Party. With this goal in mind, we will double down on efforts to create software that helps users a) make content and b) learn / mentor along the way. First step is to launch a Webmaker App on Firefox OS and Android which makes it easy to create web native apps and content. We’ll begin to integrate a chat / social component that makes it easy for people to learn and mentor using the app. We will roll this experience back onto the desktop Webmaker.org site. Depending on interest (see below) we may also roll this work into an offering more tightly tied to Firefox.
| | * '''Launch Webmaker App on Firefox OS and Android''' |
| | | ** Make it easy to create web-native apps and content |
| While Webmaker App will appear like a new part of the offering to end users, it leverages and shares much of what exists in Webmaker: Webmaker accounts; MakeDrive filesystem; Appmaker brick / web component model; X-Ray Goggles; brand and UX elements. Note: this is the evolution of the ‘Appmaker on Devices’ project w/ the Marketplace team as part of our GSMA initiative.

| Target market: learners and mentors, initially on Android and Firefox OS. | | ** Consider tightly tying to Firefox (depending on interest) |
