It is used extensively both inside and outside Mozilla. This project would be about adding a set of zooming and brushing features to facilitate the exploration of large and/or noisy datasets, such as in the [https://wiki.mozilla.org/EngineeringProductivity/Projects/Perfherder Perfherder] or [https://github.com/mozilla/missioncontrol/ Mission Control] projects.
