* Pick the second as canonical and update the bookmark. This could occationally be annoying if the user actually wants to see the simpler bookmark and it keeps getting changed behind their back. In some cases, doing this is dangerous, as pointed out in [https://bugzilla.mozilla.org/show_bug.cgi?id=213467#c15 bug 213467 comment 15]. We As a result, we probably don't want to do thisautomatically, and displaying dialog boxes or other UI would likely to too annoying.
* Pick the second as canonical, and don't update the bookmark. We only show the destionation URL in history, and show it as bookmarked. This could be potentially confusing in some cases, since the user may not recognise the URL. This problem will always be present, however, since they if they visit any page equivalent to a bookmarked page, they will see it as bookmarked.
