== The XULRunner 1.8.1 series ==
There will probably be a release of XULRunner 1.8.1 concurrent with the release of [[Firefox2|Firefox 2.0]] (June or July early Q3 2006). This release will contain additional planned features of XULRunner, including an installer/upgrader/uninstaller, the developer kit, and additional embedding interfaces. The status and featureset of this release depends on the needs of existing and potential XULRunner clients.
== XULRunner 1.9 ==
XULRunner 1.9 will be the first ''production'' release of XULRunner, and will be used and shipped by Firefox 3 (Q1 2007). The full planned featureset of XULRunner including application management and embedding APIs will be available in this release.
