Just as with those "You are here" signs on big maps, it would be helpful for a dynamic pop-up indicator (customizable message or display--as simple as a color highlighting or a floating arrow) to show you if you have already bookmarked the page in the currently visible tab. I know I have a lot of bookmarks and I don't always remember if I've already bookmarked a page. This feature could be enabled/disabled in the Preferences.

Related to "Your Bookmark Is here": have an inobtrusive floating arrow hovering on the right side of your bookmark toolbar; to bookmark your current tab, just grab it and move it to point at the bookmark folder of your choice and click. If you double click the arrow, you'll be prompted to create a new folder through the normal dialogue.
