Changes

There will probably be a release of XULRunner 1.8.1 concurrent with the release of [[Firefox2|Firefox 2]] (early Q3 Q4 2006). This release will contain additional planned features of XULRunner, including an installer/upgrader/uninstaller, the developer kit, and additional embedding interfaces. The status and featureset of this release depends on the needs of existing and potential XULRunner clients.

XULRunner 1.9 will be the first ''production'' release of XULRunner, and will be used and shipped by Firefox 3 (Q1 Q2 2007). The full planned featureset of XULRunner including application management and embedding APIs will be available in this release.
