Silent Update is comprised of the following 5 6 components:

* Dedicated placement in Firefox Home tab* Hover panel from from somewhere on the page* Brainstorm with UX/Marketing
<b>4) OS dialogues ([https://wiki.mozilla.org/OS_Dialogs feature page]):</b>
* Win7 UAC (user account control) dialogue* Mac OS: determine if there are issues for non-admins
<b>5) About dialogue</b>
* Move away from version numbers* "You're running the latest version", "Firefox checked the latest version and it was updated X minutes ago."

<b>6) Update the add-on compatibility check prompt ([place holder feature page]):</b>
*In conjunction with component 2), for add-ons that are invalid we will update the dialog to allow users to "not now" or "remind me later" when the silent update process encounters an unsupported add-on.
