The Aurora channel provides an early preview of the next Firefox Beta release. Although Aurora is more stable than our nightly development builds, it is not yet fully tested and is not the same quality as official beta or release versions. Aurora will offer to update itself automatically about once a day, as we make improvements available.

See the '''[[#ReadMe: Native UI Builds|ReadMe]]''' below about information regarding the new Native builds available on the Aurora channel.
Download instructions:
If you are actively developing or testing Firefox features that are not yet released to the Aurora or Beta channels, you can download a Nightly build. You may install and use Nightly alongside builds from other channels (Firefox, Beta, Aurora).
The nightly channel is a snapshot of our very latest development work, before it is ready for widespread testing. This is our least stable update channel, and is not recommended for most users. Nightly builds provide an early preview of work that will eventually be included in Firefox 11 or later. Nightly will offer to update itself automatically about once a day with the latest changes from our developers.

See the '''[[#ReadMe: Native UI Builds|ReadMe]]''' below about information regarding the new Native builds available on the Nightly channel.

We have now merged our rewrite for the Firefox UI using the native Android toolkit, to our nightly and aurora channels.
=== ReadMe: Native UI Nightly Builds ===We have now merged our rewrite for the Firefox UI using the native Android toolkit, to our nightly channel. If you currently have Fennec Native Nightly installed, please uninstall via Android Settings/Manage Applications and reinstall using the above instructions.Fennec Native Nightly uses the same storage for bookmarks and history (but not for passwords) as the default Android browser (and some other 3rd party Android browsers). If you have chosen to backup application data on your device, this bookmark and history data may be backed up to Google's servers. This is a change from previous versions of Fennec, where data was stored internally to Fennec and only synced off device if the user chose to use Mozilla Sync.
