We expect this release to provide a bare minimum for Eudora users to feel comfortable, so that they can provide feedback and get involved in development.
The initial patch for the penelope extension (and associated files) was added 11/22/06 to bugzilla: bug [https://bugzilla.mozilla.org/show_bug.cgi?id=359231 359231].
