==Goals==
The goal of Mozilla Presence is Desktop/phone UI for users to provide :* see at a way for glance and manage what applications they granted presence access to know when their users are .* see lively notifications and act on them or ignore them.* manage how much idling is considered to be 'online, even if they don't have the application running, so they can reach themvs. 'away' vs.'offline'
The project will be Mozilla Cloud Services run system that:* allows a success if user to authorize an application registered in access to the Marketplace is able users presence* sends notifications to reach out the users device that are "online" (active they can act on their phone or desktop but with the app not running)* sends user presence updates to authorized server applications
XXX find Note: Lively notifications are different than SimplePush style Notifications in that they can require immediate action else they'll become stale, like a better sentence heremissed phone call. The project will be a success if an application registered with Mozilla Cloud Services is able to reach out users that are "online" (active on their phone or desktop but with the app not running).
