Sending Attachments
* Maximum file size
** The maximum file v1.3+: Maximum aggregate size of sent all attachments is limited to 5 megabytes on v1.1, v1.2 and master. This is done because we are likely to crash if we try and send larger files. but {{bug|871897}} has been fixed and so the app is about us switching to streaming for capable of sending much larger attachments without crashing if the limit is relaxed. (Tests included sending which would allow us to remove our send-side limitationsa 29MB video. ) Receiving We have not raised the limit because there are still potential memory issues with downloading large attachments in the e-mail app, mail servers may still frequently enforce maximum message size limits, and the larger the message the larger a chance of a send failure.** v1.1-v1.2: Maximum aggregate size limitof all attachments is limited to 5 megabytes, memory usage will be high. ** v1.0.1 has no : No size limit, but is likely to crash on 256MB devices if files larger than aggregate attachment size exceeds 5 megabytes are sent.
