I think this is basically the same as my suggestion in the section "Master password".
Summing up:
a) Popup windows for every web site = annoying.
b) I want my paypal password encrypted
c) I don't care if my youtube password is encrypted, I just want the popups to stop.
Having the optino to encrypt/not would increase all-round security a lot because I wouldn't be constantly surfing in "master password has been entered" mode. I visit youtube a couple of times a day, I wisit paypal once every couple of weeks.
It also helps protect against keyloggers, etc. for the same reason - you enter your password less often.
