'''MozWeekend is an incentive to bring back the community vibe that we had when there was just 600 of us. This is a monstrous task, which was partially successful in attempts such as summit. Sadly, having 600 people to meet over 3 days was quite difficult.
'''MozWeekend is a framework and class for events to take on. It allows the rapid formation and planning of events focused on the bonding and creation of your community using Mozilla values as glue.'''

To start with, MozWeekend is focusing on regional communities, so we can get to know those around us better first'''
=== Principles ===

* Mozillians is a family.
* Segregation from paid Mozillians felt by other Mozillians can be just because they don't know the employees well.
* Employees, Volunteers and Contractors should be collectively known as Mozillians. Employees and Contractors, as needed, can be referred to as "paid Mozillians" or "paid contributors".
* Mozillians are the basis of our products, therefore are higher up in the hierarchy of importance.
* Some product focus should be shifted to the bonding and building of the Mozillians Family.

== Expected Outcome ==
=== Framework ===
We want MozWeekend to bring Mozillians together with the others around them. This includes paid/unpaid contributors, contractors and those around the FOSS community who support Mozilla.

== How? ==
With the success of Mozilla Weekend Albania - Feb 2014, which followed the principles of Mozilla Weekend, we have started developing a framework, which will be trialed by a Mozilla Weekend in London.
We plan to operate about 50 MozWeekends each year. The idea is simple and gives flexibility to the people organizing the events. Our expectations are for ReMo to help provide financial support to bring about 50-100 contributors from your country together for 3 days.

== What is included? ==
The framework will include things such as:
Lots of social! We expect the MozWeekends to help mozillians get to know each other beyond the IRC Nick/Twitter Handle.
* Template Emails to attendees
* Branding
* Guides on how to run an event successfully
* Ideas for things to do
* Tools to make the event happen
* Information on usage of a Mozilla Space
* How to get help

Excepted delivery for the framework is '''August 2013'''
