Private browsing tabs, on the other hand, are handled differently. Unlike normal browsing tabs, private tab data ''is'' saved to the bundle and is ''not'' saved to disk. This means that if Firefox crashes, is force closed, or is killed by a task killer, the private session is lost. This is done by design for security privacy reasons.
