The same few people have been coming for years, whilst newcomers drift in then disappear again. You bump into one such former newcomer and chat about why she didn’t stick around– she tells you she felt your group “was just a talking shop”. You mention this to the regulars at the next meeting and they all agree it’d be good to take more action. The discussion then moves on to what you should take action on,and once more you have an energetic discussion about a range of issues, but don’t decide what you’d actually like to do or agree to do anything.
