This document describes one part of the Support efforts around Firefox 4 Beta. For other sub-projects, see the main project page

This section involves our path for reporting issues with Firefox beta products back to QA and developers, generating useful bug reports and sharing user insights.

Goals

  1. Report weekly issues to developers and QA about problems with the beta, incompatible extensions/web sites and general user feedback from reports in SUMO (Live Chat & Forums).
  2. Develop a system for collecting community-found reports and actively engage the community in common-issue reporting. Long term goal: expand this to all of Firefox, not just the beta.

To-Dos

  1. For the reporting, one rep from each feedback channel is meeting once a week to coordinate reports.
  2. For the community involvement, we're going to pilot our community involvement plan by assigning beta-specific tasks.
