{{IRC Full}} creates a string with two links to the same IRC channel:

  1. to Mozilla's server irc.mozilla.org (IMO), which is under the irc:// protocol and is used by IRC clients such as ChatZilla, and
  2. to the webchat service Mibbit (IMO at chat.mibbit.com), making it possible to join the channel via a web browser.

There is only 1 parameter, which is unnamed and required.

The template's syntax is

  • {{IRC Full|IMO irc channel}}

Required parameter

IRC channel on IMO

For the template to work, you need to enter the name of the channel you want to link to. The channel must be available on irc.mozilla.org (IMO).

  • Do not include the number sign ("hash") in the channel name. That is inserted automatically.
  • The webchat link has a non-changable name: "(webchat)".
  • {{IRC Full|IMO irc channel}}
