This makes it easy to write out lines of dialogue in script format, as you just write:

{{line|Person1|Line1}}
{{line|Person2|Line2}}
{{line|Person3|Line3}}
{{line|Person4|Line4}}

to generate:

Person1: "Line1"
Person2: "Line2"
Person3: "Line3"
Person4: "Line4"

This template can be subst:'d, and please leave it that way! A more complicated template is available at {{dialogue}}.

This makes it easy to tackle:

• Standardisation of script format
• Quotes in bullet points, as:

  *{{line|Me|Hello}}{{line|You|Who, me?}}

  gives:

• Me: "Hello"
  You: "Who, me?"
  

rather than common ugly mistakes like:

• Me: "Hello"

You: "Who, me?"
