  • Kaspersky Internet Security 2011 is now compatible with Thunderbird 3.1, but will be broken when Thunderbird updates.
  • Due to how Kaspersky is installing the extension bits.
  • Standard8 will be contacting Kaspersky and updating relnotes.

• Advertised major updates
  • 3.0 -> 3.1.2:
    • Released on 11th Aug at 10% throttle, 13th Aug increase to 25% throttle, 25th Aug 100% of update pings get an offer.
    • Probably 800k users upgraded, 600k remaining.
  • 2.0 -> 3.1.2:
    • Released on 18th Aug at 10% throttle, 31st Aug increased to 20%
    • Probably 100-300k users upgraded, maybe more
  • Looking at % ADUs across each build:
    • 11 Aug: 2.0: 47.7%, 3.0: 33.2%, 3.1: 19%
    • 30 Aug: 2.0: 40.5%, 3.0: 15.7%, 3.1: 43.8%
