     This menu is fine as-is, except that I would remove the "Message" submenu. Not only is this an extremely ambiguous name, but it's already right there under the toolbar.
   * Remove the Go menu! I don't need a whole other menu just for Next and Previous!

   * Tools
     As of 1.0.x, this seemed to be more appropriately called the "Miscellaneous Menu."
         o Message Filters...
         o Junk Mail Controls...
           The Junk Mail toolbar button should be turned into a dropdown button (like the Get Mail button) with the Run Junk and Delete Junk options. This menu item is just the Junk Mail options.

   * Help
     Fine -- as long as there's some offline help soon.

One more thing: I removed the folder controls from the File menu, because I think it should be a menu in the folder pane. That way, only users who use folders would even see it (i.e. hiding the folder pane). The folder pane menu (accessed by clicking the title "Folders") should look something like this:

   * New Folder
   * Open Folder in New Mail Window
   * -----------------
   * Mark Folder Read
   * Compact Folder
   * Rename Folder
   * Copy Folder Location
   * -----------------
   * Empty Trash
