Stage 1: Definition
1. Feature overview
Tip of the day is a feature aimed at helping users discovering Thunderbird features and learning tips & tricks to make a better use of Thunderbird everyday.
2. Users & use cases
- Tip of the day is displayed whenever the Thunderbird start page is displayed. The design team will recommend an implementation, but for the sake of simplicity, we'll consider the 'Tip of the day' is displayed 'within' the start page
- Tip of the day is different everyday and is picked at random (or in order) from a base of ready made content
- Provision is taken for user to dismiss Tip of the day (do not show in the future check box)
- Provision is taken for user to re-activate Tip of the day
- 'Tip of the day' on first launch after installation or upgrade is handled differently and will display a list of recommended add-ons (see [Default_Add-ons
