I'm a developer at FastMail, working on the Cyrus IMAPd server.

My main interest is in Thunderbird, improving protocol support for IMAP and potentially for new protocols. I contributed the COMPRESS=DEFLATE support to Thunderbird when we enabled support on our servers, so it would get real world testing and client use.
