Orange Crush
The meeting is going to discuss practical ways in which the intermittent orange problem can be addressed.
Motivation
- The intermittent orange problem is solvable:
- It's a useful problem to solve. The two oranges in the screenshot below shows an actual test failure because of something really broken by one of my patches:
Strategy/Agenda
- Educate people to write better tests
- Fail the tests which follow one of the intermittent orange patterns intentionally
- Educate people how to fix intermittent orange bugs
- Triage and follow up to get them fixed
- Create tools which help developers fix the bugs
