I'd like to have an account on the Mozilla Wiki so I can contribute to the open badges project. Our organization, the CPA Center of Excellence, currently issues badges for six graduate level courses in the CPA Core Competencies (or general business skills, if you like) in Leadership, Networking and Collaboration, Critical Thinking, Decision Making, Communication Skills and Entrepreneurship - and we are in the process of developing another course as well. We plan to continued down this path, and actually are working with our State (Indiana) legislature and Board of Accountancy to try to change the licensing rule for CPAs to include our competency-based online courses. In the area of CPA professional development, I've found we really are leaders in this area. I want to make sure to stay abreast of the digital badges project, and other projects Mozilla is working on so we stay ahead of the game. I'd also like to add our organization to the list of issuers. Our LMS integrates directly with the Mozilla Backpack so people can easily upload their badges.
