I'm a Pilot of the Merchant Marine, retired, but still working with Ships and sea transports. As a Pilot and Captain, I was very early working with electronics, I start sailing before the introduction of the Transit Satellite Navigation System, and the use of PC's on board. I've accompanying all the evolution in the electronic fields on board with the gradual introduction of new equipment such as GPS Navigation Systems, I've created from zero stability programs to vessels in my command, with very early software like lotus and quattro pro and science there I did not stop. I love software especially the ones for open sources and is that the reason Im so very interested in learning and helping others to understand how to use they machines and programs. I believe that together with other millions I can make a difference.
