Nelson B joined Netscape as a cryptographic software developer in September 1996. He has been working on NSS, the cryptographic software libraries originally used in Netscape, and now in Mozilla products and server products from Sun Microsystems and Red Hat, ever since then.

Nelson developed NSS's implementation of TLS (SSL 3.1) and the implementations of several of NSS's cryptographic algorithms.
