He is an ICT Undergraduate from University of Rajarata. Also he gives his contribution to FOSS related works Sri lanka. He is very much interested in Cloud and Visualization technologies and he is specializing Linux system engineering, web technologies and networks in the university. A lover of Qt and GTK+ development toolkits. Also he pursue his studying under RHCSA/RHCE and CCNA as additional s for the Bachelors degree. Loves to involve in FOSS community works.
Personal attitudes towards FOSS
Nowadays in countries like Sri lanka, some topics those can be heard from IT folks and even non-IT folks, are FOSS, Linux ... For us, It is like huge hop! Because from year ago, very few people were there to work and do something with FOSS. But now things have been changed a lot. Recently Government had the initiative FOSS4Gov (FOSS4Gov By ICTA) and also they are giving a big support by encouraging FOSS. ...But still, there is a long tour to go.
