My recommendations for Firefox:

Better AJAX support. One can revive the browser is an OS plan under AJX if one can concieve more state. One needs to be able to keep applications running and sort of memory. So while Google is handling all the application development and memory Firefox can try to make things better for applications like Google Spreadsheets, With optional macros which need not be reloaded everytime. Or some kind of a Java garbage collection thing. Also put in a discipline like Yahoo Mail beta reloads pages too frequently, so a user should be able to see which page is using the browser the most.
