the way that tabs would be really useful is if it could work this way: when I right-click on a link in the page I'm viewing, one of the options that comes up is 'open link in a new tab'. That way I could more easily go back and forth from the first page to additional pages, e.g., after doing a Google search and I'd like to look at several of the hits.

Firefox does that already. Also try middle-clicking the link. --merriam 10:16, 25 May 2005 (PDT)
