  • need a personal hg repo you don't have to sign up for -- revision control should be painless to encourage people to check things in

    • khan is grinding on db imports and restores most of the time
  • set up access for key production databases
    • SUMO, AMO databases need to sync weekly to the dev db server
    • AMO has a read-only slave for reporting and debugging, and this would be useful for SUMO as well
    • complaints were that each time we need to udpate the db, it takes anywhere from 1 hour to 2 hours because our hardware for this sucks -- so we lose a lot of time waiting for disk i/o
