Goal

Mozilla.org is re-designing its get involved page. This is a major source of contributors. So we need to prioritize and optimize accordingly.

MoFo needs to:

• Update and up-level our presence there.
• Make sure the page copy, email copy and links are up to date.
• Then use metrics and science to optimize a) CRT and b) conversion from this page

Flow

How does the interaction work for users?

• 1) interest. user picks an area of Mozilla they're interested in contributing toward
• 2) sign up. they pick a program or project. then sign up with their email address.
• 3) automated response. they receive an automated email we create. from a person we designate.
• 4) follow-up. we have the option to follow up with that person later. Their email goes to a database.
  • QUESTION: how? where is the data stored? what database?

Deliverables

What does MoFo need to provide asap?

• 1. an owner. to receive the sign-up emails, and be the "face" behind the automated email response
• 2. copy. the text for the emails.
