Tracks

MoFo's Whistler work week has three key tracks:
• 1) Relationships -- thinking and plans for making "long-term relationships" the north star metric for all our programs going forward.
• 2) Mozilla Academy -- what is it? what are the plans to date? timelines? how does it impact you and your program?
We'll talk about both of these in the opening MoFo All Hands on Tuesday. To set expectations and framing for the week.

• 3) Sessions -- open blocks of time to:
• a) meet amongst your team,
• b) collaborate on cross-team projects, or
• c) meet with MoCo colleagues.
Programmed and agreed on by you, your team and program leads in advance.

Process for scheduling Team Time:

1. Look. Have a look at the schedule. There are open blocks available for Team Time on Wed, Thurs and Fri. Here's a visual snapshot: http://mzl.la/1Q3ZNZg
2. Discuss. Think and discuss with your team and colleagues. What do you most need to discuss, decide or get done at Whistler? Each team will have their own process for working this out together -- your manager will have more details.
3. Propose. Once you have firmed up proposals for sessions or meetings, add them to the spreadsheet here: http://mzl.la/sessions You'll need to include fields like:
4. Approve. Program leads will review and approve the proposals.
5. Publish. Once your proposal has been approved, @OpenMatt will add it to the official work week Sched tool. So that it shows up for the world and colleagues to see: get in touch: https://juneworkweekwhistler2015.sched.org/speaker/mozilla_foundation.1tqsd9vg

MoFo FAQ

• Should each team schedule its own "Relationships" and "Mozilla Academy" time? Does each team need to be responsible for scheduling sessions on those key themes? Or will we do that together in plenary?
• What's the process for booking time with MoCo colleagues?
• Are the MoFo "All Hands" times mandatory for MoFos to attend? Yes.
