Agenda - Planning Meeting - 2010-02-18

  • 2010 Roadmap
    • general discussion: any info/actions/details/notes we want to add to the roadmap?
    • continue dividing up into teams:
      • who present at meeting wants to do what in roadmap actions?
      • especially important to finish defining teams for the 2 upcoming tasks: Contact community leaders + List of women contributors and their involvement
    • everyone still ok with the announced milestones?
  • Surveys and Web Design
    • Who wants to join the Survey Crew?

    • Aggregate womoz members' blog posts to womoz blog -> define who's in charge
    • Aggregate the womoz blog on the planet mozilla -> define who's in charge

Survey

     Add Milos to the team
     Decide what kind of survey we want and what for and then the team in charge will desing it
     We need to discuss it a bit more, goals are not defined strictly
     There are two sides here:
           The group decision in the objectives and goals that will be reach with the survey
           The technical design just for the experts ones
     First we work in intern (so amongst our contribs) then in external
           Identifying if Mozilla communities can be more effective in their work, improving collaborative work.
     Define the goals, then see if the survey is the right instrument
            1. Defining goals and  future applications (whole womoz)
            2. Spliting the goals into parts (could be some team ad hoc)
            3. Choosing and designing the propper instruments for each part (technical team expert in gathering info and qda)
            4. Analysing the info collected (same as before)
     Start by contacting the community leaders (ie the roadmap) and contacting the wome
     Make a chart explaning each stage and asigning teams to each one
     

WebDev team

      Add Milos to the team (again)
      Expand the team, ask Lucy
      Check the goals

Agregating blogs

      Create a womoz planet?
             Get some info on requirements for a platform
             Try to add it to planet.m.o
