This page will track declaring the latest mozilla-beta build as the final in this cycle and starting the build off of the mozilla-release repository.
Please note that issues found in the final moments of the beta period may still require us to rebuild before release
Focus Areas
Tracking Details
- bug 752266 – Firefox startup crash in nsFileInputStream::Read
- #19 top crasher in our most recent betas, and a startup crasher
- Also jumped in FF12, must be a 3rd party issue
- Josh/Bob have been contacted for help with directing QA attention and performing code analysis.
- bug 757262 – Youtube keeps playing audio after closing & bug 756250 – Netflix keeps playing after closing
- Email out to the company asking for reproducible cases
- Have a speculative fix on nightly, but won't consider taking (or respinning a beta) unless we get verification it fixes the problem (QA?)

- Tracking bug: https://bugzilla.mozilla.org/show_bug.cgi?id=749733
- Biggest concern is Implementing the new WN page (https://bugzilla.mozilla.org/show_bug.cgi?id=752689) because of concern for localization of the page and SUMO links.
- Worst case, only show the page in en-US and use the template for other locales.
- Blog Posts need sign-off from PM this week. Will be sending email shortly.
