Title of Session: Workshop for Onboarding New Volunteers

How are you currently involved with the community?: Paid Staff: People Team, Coding Steward Josh Matthews

Location of Work (where do you reside?): Mountain View, CA and Toronto Canada

Talk Length (please choose between 30, 60, 90, 120 minutes): 60 minutes

Summary:

The workshop is focused on leveraging the new localized Goals and helping volunteer communities do the following:

1) Identify contribution needs in their areas

2) Qualify interested volunteers

3) Onboard and mentor core and casual volunteers

Equipment Needs (Video projector already included): Large White Sticky Pads, Markers, large post it notes.
