Agenda
This meeting is discuss moderation tools for the Your Web campaign that we plan to launch in November. https://wiki.mozilla.org/Websites/Your_Web Process for:
- moderation of photos that will be presented in a visualization
- moderation of copy that will be presented in visualization
- can we use mechanical turk - https://www.mturk.com/mturk/welcome
Notes
Questions:
- Is there a time delay? No
- Does their submission show up immediately on the homepage? No, only to their own unique URL
- Does amazon mechanical turk work for non-en locales
- Could we send the user an alert when someone is reviewed and approved? Only if they provide an email.
- Should users be able to share it immediately? Yes
- Does the ability to share immediately outweigh the risk of something inappropriate being shared? Depends on how fast the moderation can happen.
