Summary

This document outlines Kanbanery best practices for Web Prod projects seeking involvement from the community.

Categories

The following categories of cards should be used to denote tasks that are either good first bugs or good candidates for existing contributors.

  1. Mentored - Good tasks for new contributors.
  2. Contribute - Good tasks for existing contributors who are not yet "Active" or "Privileged"

The categories should be given the same colors across boards.

  1. Mentored - #06f2fd
  2. Contribute - #3c8396

Accounts

Once a contributor has completed 3 cards they should be given a kanbanery account for the specific project (and kanban badge). They can take cards with guidance from the rest of the team.
