Agenda
This is an informal conversational session, with a focus on trying to move the recent Mozilla Foundation discussions forward in some tangible way. Some possible topics of discussion (not mutually exclusive):
- How do we guide the overall conversation about the future of the Foundation so that it comes to useful conclusions?
- Have we learned any useful lessons from the past 2-3 years of Foundation activities, i.e., stuff that would be useful to keep in mind going forward?
- Are there any general areas/activities that we can already identify at this time as being worthy of further exploration?
- What does the Mozilla community expect the Foundation to be doing (to the extent that we can discern this), and how does this fit in with other ideas about possible Foundation activities?
Additional questions are being brainstormed below. If you have some, add them. We will synthesize and bring a clear list to the session.
- What kinds of things can / should the Foundaiton do to build on (a) these goals and (b) the technology work of to move the Mozilla mission forward?
- Should the Foundation being reaching out to new people and helping them find ways to get involved in the Mozilla community? Of supporting the existing community? Or both?
