Usage

{{hiddencat}} (or {{hidden category}}) should be placed on the category page of the category you wish to be hidden. It contains the appropriate magic word, and displays a message on the category page, at the position where you place it (it should always be placed at the top of the page).

Don't use unless you are an administrator!

This is a maintenance template, intended for use only for categories that need not, or should not be visible to the ordinary user, for reasons of privacy, to avoid cluttering, etc. Hence, use of {{hiddencat}} is decided upon, and carried out by, the administrators of MozillaWiki.

So, if you're not an administrator, you shouldn't use this yourself. Instead, if you think a category should be hidden, start a discussion on the talk page of the category in question.

This template includes the magic word __HIDDENCAT__, which means that you don't need to add it to any category page that already uses {{hiddencat}}.

Syntax

This template has no parameters. To use it, place this string of code at the top of the category page:

{{hiddencat}}
