Remotie Friends & Family Day:

With the great feedback from last year, we are excited to have remoties self organize for events again this year! Details with dollars can be found internally at the MANA page for Remotee Friends & Family Day 2018.

Remoties with Workday work locations defined as "Remote" will get an email about this event. If your Workday work location needs updating please contact hrops@mozilla.com.

How to participate:

There are 3 ways:

1. Join a MozSpace celebration: If you're close to a MozSpace you can join. We'll include you in the festivities but any costs for traveling/lodging belong to you.
2. Organize a Regional Meet up: If you live close to other Remotees self organize, pool your funds and celbrate together. Travel/lodging costs belong to you.
3. Remotie individual celebrations: Remoties that aren't close to other Mozillians can participate with immediate Family + 2 guests. This could be a night at the movies or an outing to a fun venue proudly wearing Mozilla swag.

What about SWAG?

We want to send you some! Because your work address is your home address we need your permission to do so, via the RSVP. You can OPT OUT of swag if you wish

FAQ

• I'm remote, why didn't I get an invite to RSVP? Please check your work location in Workday... that's what we used to determine eligibility.
• How do I correct my work location to update remote status? Contact hrops@mozilla.com then email moz-remotie-help@mozilla.com to receive an RSVP invite.
• How much can I expense towards this event? Check out more info on the mana HERE or in RSVP email.
• Are MoFo remoties eligible to participate? Yes, please expense to your normal cost center but indicate Friends & Family day on report.
• Are Elancers eligible to participate? Yes, please expense via Elance and indicate Friends & Family day on report.
