Here is a list of things to check when you have a chance to use Windows 7:
- Where are profiles stored?
- C:\Users\(username)\AppData\Roaming\Mozilla\Firefox\Profiles\
- Where are profile caches stored?
- C:\Users\(username)\AppData\Local\Mozilla\Firefox\Profiles
- How do you uninstall Firefox (is the control panel different)?
- Where is the default location for file downloads?
- C:\Users\(username)\Downloads
- Do pop-ups still have the Firefox logo in the top-left of the title bar?
- Yes
- Do pop-ups still have the "Mozilla Firefox" name in the title bar?
- Yes
- Can you create a desktop shortcut by dragging the website favicon to the desktop?
- Yes
- How do you access the Firefox profile manager?
- Same way as in Vista
- Does IE show up in the list of browsers to import from (File>Import)?
- Yes
- If so, what is in the list of items to import?
- Internet options, cookies, browsing history, favorites
