Top issues from user testing:

Issue 1: Page transitions: "That took a long time." (P1) 4/4 users commented on the speed of page loading. My interpretation: screen still shows white redraw between pages-- and pages loading piece by piece. KNOWN ISSUe. Opened as bug: 710404

Issue 2: Pages not anchored (can be dragged to extreme left, right, top, and bottom). "Looks like it's not quite adjusted to the page." (P2) 2/4 users dragged the pages around the screen, and called this behavior "buggy." KNOWN ISSUE.

Issue 3: Top half of screen is blank. Page displays in bottom half of screen. P3 saw this behavior, which I believe is based on bug 705256. P3's phone specs: HTC Droid Incredible on Verizon. OS is Android 2.3.4. KNOWN ISSUE

Issue 4: 3/4 of participants were confused about how to use the Awesomebar. 3/4 participants did not know how to get started, but guessed that they needed to tap in the Awesomebar "How do I do a search?" (P3). They were able to learn the correct behavior pretty quickly. Instead of "Nightly:Start" could we have a string like: "Type your search term here" or similar?

Issue 5: Flash objects do not appear properly anchored to the screen. P1 saw and commented that "This advertisement keeps moving along... moving down (the screen). KNOWN ISSUE

Issue 6: Typing is painful. I observed many typing mistakes. Can we at least show a '.com' button? What are other ways we can help users avoid their keyboards?

Issue 7: Wikipedia search. Participants' phones got a desktop(?) version of wikipedia which had a strange layout and made the search field miniscule. Participants had difficulty getting focus on the tiny search field.
