• Landed bug 467768 (open mail in tabs), along with a change to the openTab API. Several regressions due to bug 474701 might have been fixed by this, so please re-test if you've reported any.
  • If you're running a debug build and see any "Overwriting an existing document channel!" assertions, please search for/file bugs. This assertion means that the email's character encoding would be messed up.
• Also fixed bug 500284 and bug 500657 (for gloda searches).
• Submitted a patch for bug 499273 (fix delete all junk in folder).
• Spent a bit of time looking into how message pane de-multiplexing could be implemented.
• Updated/fixed a few how-tos.
• Filed a bug + submitted a patch for a minor issue with mozrunner.

• Switched bloat boxes to build with --enable-static-mail as a bustage wasn't picked up that may have been had we been building with that configuration (we ship in the --enable-static-mail configuration so we should be using that configuration anyway).
• bug 121647 POP/IMAP server passwords are inappropriately forgotten
  • Did some work on seeing how difficult this would be, came up with a patch for an IMAP fix.
• bug 338549 Mailnews account password prompts at startup no longer serial
  • Did some thinking about this, have an idea for a solution need to move forward after b3.
• bug 489325 Sanitize Send feedback and progress handling (for send in background)
  • Started preparing final patch, hope to have updated one late tomorrow.
