Round 17 spans Dec 4, 2018 - March 4, 2019.

  1. Dates
  • Sept. 3, 2018 Most Outreachy mentoring communities and internship projects will be listed
  • Sept. 10, 2018 Applicants start making contributions to internship projects
  • Oct. 2, 2018 Last date for new mentoring community listings
  • Oct. 9, 2018 Last date for new internship project listings
  • Oct. 23, 2018 at 4pm UTC Application deadline. Last day to finish any contributions to internship projects. Applications who made a contribution must submit the rest of their project application by this date.
  • Oct. 30, 2018 at 4pm UTC Late application deadline for specific projects (see below for which projects are accepting late applications)
  • Oct. 23, 2018 to Nov. 14, 2018 Applicants are encouraged to continue making contributions
  • Nov. 14, 2018 Accepted interns announced on the alums page at 4pm UTC
  • Dec. 4, 2018 to March 4, 2019 Internships period
